If you are new to retinol or have sensitive skin, begin 2–3 nights per week and increase gradually over approximately 4–8 weeks as your skin adapts. Avoid stacking exfoliating acids or other retinoids in the same evening while building tolerance.

Retinoid guidance: Some initial dryness, flaking or sensitivity can still occur. Reduce frequency if irritation develops. Use sunscreen daily. If pregnant, lactating or planning to become pregnant, consult a physician before using a retinoid.
